Bonding Time Tracker: Small Moments That Build Connection
Our Bonding Time Tracker helps you notice and log the small, responsive moments of play, talk, and touch that build a secure connection with your baby.
When you bring your new baby home, the world is suddenly full of advice. You hear about sleep, feeding, and milestones, and it can feel like a long checklist of things you need to get ‘right’. Amid all this noise, the simple, profound joy of connecting with your baby can sometimes feel like another task to complete. This responsive care builds and strengthens crucial neural pathways in their developing brain, teaching them that the world is a safe place and that they are loved and worthy of care. This process is deeply beneficial for you, too. Every time you cuddle your baby, make eye contact, or respond to their cry, your body releases oxytocin—often called the 'love hormone'. This hormone helps lower your stress levels, promotes feelings of calm and wellbeing, and deepens your connection to your baby. It's a beautiful, biological feedback loop. Taking a moment to check in with how you are feeling is vital, which is why tools lik…
