In the first few weeks of life, ear cartilage is very soft. In some clinics, non-surgical 'ear moulding' splints can reshape ears if started early — usually within the first 6 weeks. Talk to your GP early if you'd like to explore this; later, the option is surgical (usually after school age).

- Pain, redness or swelling (suspect infection)
